Our Lotion Bars protect your skin from moisture loss throughout the day.  We don’t feel  lotions should be “moisturizing.”  Instead, they should protect against moisture loss.  Using Small Batch Natural Handmade soap in the bath or shower, not by some bottle of chemicals commonly called “lotion”, moisturizes our skin.  We always recommend that our customers first moisturize their skin in the bath or shower with one of our Natural Handmade soap bars; then, apply a layer of protection with their favorite handmade lotion bar. How to use your Handmade Lotion Bar:

Our Original Warm & Cozy Lotion Bar is designed to melt at body temperature. Simply rub the Original Warm & Cozy Lotion Bar directly over dry skin. It will melt on contact. Massage the Original Warm & Cozy Lotion Bar oils into the skin.

Our handmade lotion bars are made with natural butter and oils, so be sure they absorb completely before putting on clothing.

How to care for your Handmade Lotion Bar:

Because our Lotion Bars melt at body temperature you will want to pay special attention to the climate in which you store your handmade lotion bar. Keep them somewhere cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight.

How long should your Handmade Lotion Bar last?

The life of your lotion bar is dependent on how often you use it.  If you use your handmade lotion bar daily it will last you about as long as a bottle of liquid lotion.  However, there is a bonus to using our artisanal handmade lotion bars as a compliment to our small batch of natural handmade soap – you may not need to use your handmade lotion bar daily, which could mean it would last for months.  Then again, you may want to use it daily because you will smell terrific! 😉
