Peppermint (Supreme) Essential Oil

Peppermint Essential Oil is one of the oldest medicinal herbs still used today.  It has been used for centuries for a variety of complaints, including: indigestion, nausea, sore throat, diarrhea, headaches, toothaches, and cramps.  Current day it is commonly used for intestinal colic, flatulence, common cold, and vomiting during pregnancy.  Peppermint Essential Oil is used for acne, dermatitis, ringworm, scabies, and toothache.  Relieves muscle aches and pains.  It will also aid in the respiratory system in helping asthma, bronchitis, halitosis, sinusitis, spasmodic cough.  This oil is excellent to use in a vaporizer, when it is breathed in it provides relief to head colds, bronchitis, and asthma.  Aids in fainting, headaches, mental fatigue, migraines, and vertigo.  Because of the menthol that it naturally contains it is known to have warming and cooling properties.  This oil is also an excellent oil to make peppermint hard candy with.  We do it in the winter months! 🙂
